How do I interpret the ratings?
Our ESG ratings, found on the Company page the show the respective Environmental, Social and Governance scores for a stock. We use ESG Enterprise for our source of ESG ratings.
Companies are scored out of 1000 in each category, with the Overall category being the combined total of the Environmental, Social and Governance ratings.

225 - 299 | C | Low |
300 - 449 | CC | Low |
450 - 599 | CCC | Low |
600 - 749 | B | Medium |
750 - 899 | BB | Medium |
900 - 1199 | BBB | High |
1200 - 1799 | A | High |
1800 - 2699 | AA | Excellent |
2700 - 3000 | AAA | Excellent |
The higher the score, the better the company has performed in the category. If you don't see an ESG rating for a company, it means we don't yet have the data.
Where do we get our ESG ratings from?
We use ESG Enterprise for our source of ESG ratings.

ESG scores are designed based on company stored data that aids in measuring the organisation’s relative ESG performance, efficiency, and dedication, without bias. ESG Enterprise scores companies on 10 main KPIs: human rights, biodiversity, climate change, human capital and governance, and many more.
The ESG Enterprise ESG scores are cognisant of transparency bias and depend on derived data covering almost all material industry metrics.
